Memories of a loved one are a precious thing. And in an era where friends and families are spread across the nation (or even the globe), it’s not always possible to gather everyone in the same space. Fortunately in our internet-connected age, we are able to overcome some of these hurdles of distance so everyone can pay their respects together.
Village Fox Media offers two ways to honor the memory of your loved one: Video recording and Livestreaming.
Video Recording
Our camera and microphone operator(s) will record the memorial service, including speakers, pastors, music, and more in a respectful, unobtrusive manner. We will discuss and make specific arrangements with you or the funeral director to ensure everything you want captured is included.
The visitation, wake, and burial can also be filmed upon request.
Memorial Interviews
A small, private area can be set aside during the visitation for visitors to record a video message for the departed and family. These messages will be saved to a disk and can be viewed on a DVD player or computer.
This is similar to a guest book, but with a more personal touch.
Livestreaming
In addition to recording the funeral, we offer livestreaming for an additional fee. This will allow friends and family to join in live from anywhere during the actual service, instead of waiting for a digital file or a disk to be delivered later.
A recording of the livestream will be available afterwards.
